Crostini with chicken liver with foie gras so rich and so cold that it may as well have been luscious ice cream. had maybe a grapefruit gelee. beet and grapefruit salad with goat cheese. also had duck meatballs with pillowy ricotta ana a forgettable cherry confit. An astonishing rigatini with a "pork ragout" with prolly pancetta and bitterless rapini, maybe some ricotta salata. wow. superb. a thinking man's bowl of pasta. |
